About the Builder
Joseph D. Sciortino has been in the construction business since 1980. Starting out as a masonry contractor and establishing his masonry company, known as Masonry Concepts, Inc., the company completed a wide variety of projects such as small industrial, shopping centers and retail projects throughout the greater Rochester area.
In 1990 with the desire, experience and expertise necessary to build single family homes, Joe Sciortino (general contractor), and a partner developed a small, full-service company known as Fairview Development Corp., with 25 employees. The partnership disolved after 11 years and Joe established a company on his own called Sciortino Developers.
Sciortino Developers and Sciortino Homes has a well developed portfolio of home plans for clients to choose from. Clients sometime prefer to work with an architect. Joe is well-versed in facilitating the relationship between the client and architect. Building throughout the Monroe County area Sciortino Homes currently has 3 neighborhood Subdivisions; Unionville Station, Kirkdale Villas, and Lantana Station. Unionville Station is a 55 and older senior community over looking a beautiful view of Hilton Village Park in Hilton, NY. Almost fully developed there are only 5 lots remaining available. Kirkdale Villas is a 55 and older senior community with full associations, offering 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans located in Greece, NY. Lantana Station provides a no worries living community with exterior maintenance-free lifestyle and is also located in Greece, NY. In addition to these neighborhood develpments Joe Sciortino also builds custom, spot-built homes throughout Monroe county as well.
